Maybe

I think cosmetically the blade looks better. I dont like the look of the VFR.

I shall ignore the fact that you totally disregarded any of the fine motorcycles from Bologna in your list. ST4 could do a great job for you.

Every review of every blade I have read has said it is crippling?

I'd get the blade but I don't tour.

I was all for the VFR as I like the look but its only 6kg lighter than the bird and a has a LOT less power. If you don't do too much town work then it is ok? A bloke at work uses one every day for his commute and filters in and out of traffic on the dual carriageway when both lanes are stacked.

So either the bird is fine or I think you may find both too heavy after a 600 sports bike?

Buy British------------none of the foreign carp---------be patriotic

Nearly every journalist who has ridden the new Sprint ST recons its on a par if not better than the VFR,partially due to the V tec,but also for the power delivery and brakes on the ST I think you are probably Honda bias as you seem to have forgotten all the other manufacturers. Like Peter H says the SP4 is a cracking bit of kit and the Aprilla range excellent machines also As for wanting a machine that does everything, the day it is produced all the rest will be out the window. I'm afraid old son it is horses for courses and at the end of the day only you know what
horse is for you,be it touring, scratching or commuting------------BEST OF LUCK
