Found the two-parter very enjoyable - Don't really see it as so far fetched either - it wasn't out of the realms of possibility IMO.

I watched it... Thought it was s***e. Those fight scenes were just awful ("Now I will stand here till you hit me, then I'll stick my arm out so you can grab it") and so many of the setpieces were either cheesy, shoddy or both. And I think it's just possible that they've watched 24.

Still, I liked the overall plot idea, circles within circles and all that. Some peope probably thought it was a hard hitting documentary

I'm addicted to the series, and glad it's back on. The past 2 episodes may be a bit far fetched, but still enjoyable.

Won't say anymore about it, as I know loads of people haven't seen them yet!

Spooks is good gripping telly. Fight scenes weren't fantastic but the acting is very good and the plot pretty intense. Should keep me going until the next series of 24. I recommend the Shield to any fans of gritty cop drama. It just finished on C5 but I'm sure it''ll be repeated somewhere or available on DVD.

Right well......youve missed 2 series since then!

In series 3,Tom,who shot Harry, his boss, didn't die. He went after the yank who set him up for the assination of the Brit armed forces bloke, shot him in a church, dumped his body in a Hand-brake-turn stylee outside Thames House to prove that the Yank was still alive. (he faked his own death in the states).
Tom eventually decided that MI5 wasn't 'morally correct',and was sort of kicked out/left as he was jeopardising a mission to catch terrorists.

Adam Carter had just joined the team,he came from MI6,and sort of became Tom's replacement.

Later in this series,Zoe was about to go to prison for an operation botch that resulted in the death of an undercover cop,she was told that prison wouldnt happen, but she was convicted,so Harry arranged a different Identity, and she went to Chile.

Enter Adam Carter's wife,who's name I can't remember at the moment,and Raf.

Danny and Mrs Carter were kidnapped on an op by Iraqi terrorists,Danny, was shot in the head and killed off.
Sam leaves.
Series 4.

Started at Danny's funeral, which was interupted by a terror threat, which led to a load of bombs going off in London market places.

Enter New character Jo,young lady, recruited by Adam.
She joins MI5.

Mrs Carter gets shot, and dies in an op as she originally worked for '6,but was secondered to '5.

Last episode of Series 4,Adam gets shot by ex '5 officer who was trying to prove the security-services involvment with Princess Diana's death.

Hear we are now. Hope this helps.

Yeah,chip-fryers.....Nasty.

Loved Spooks up until about 21:40 on Sunday night.

New one was a pile of poop and Hermione looks more like a boy every time she's on the telly.
