I posted my avatar. I have since gotten a rear seat cowl. Thanks for the tips on tools, I bought it used and didnt get a tool kit.

I dont think im gonna get a belly pan if its just for looks.

Any more thoughts on gauges? You can see on my avatar the gauge sticks out quite a bit.

What about mirrors? I hate the mirrors on it now, do bar end mirrors work? I kinda want to put bar end sliders on there. Any other options?

Thanks.

Ian

I also think the instrument pod is ugly on the naked bike,as it is on most modern bikes,so I would suggest a small screen to cover it up.As for tools you will need the original plug spanner(ebay?)but otherwise just buy a good quality basic tool set including sockets and spanners from 10mm to 17 mm and screwdrivers.

Another tool you need from the OEM tool set (unless the suspension seems perfect to you, lol), is the spanner for adjusting rear shock spring preload. I'm sure others will fit the collar, someone on this board will know.

What about a new digital console to replace the stock gauges? Im looking for something functional but low profile. ie that does everything the huge oblong stock gauges do but sleeker and smaller.
