Little help...

cos^2? Is the cos squared for cos*2?

I reckon maybe dihedral angle = inverse cos {(J+0.2/A }/2

But I am hung over! If it doesnt work I'll have another look

that was J + 0.28 in the equation but the smiley has appeared.

It's been years since I did A-Level Maths and I almost failed.

I got angle = cos^-1 ( sq rt ( ( J+0.28 )/A ) ).

I have a headache now.

Yep depends if he means cos*2 or cos square. Both right well done and move to the top of the class!

Law - that sounds about right! I wasnt sure about an inverse cosine, i think i got mixed up with calculus, when a cosine function is differentiatied it becomes a sine function etc etc. It is a cis squared function, not cos * 2!

I'll try that! The square root term is what i worked out, so least I know thats correct. I never did A-level maths, i taught myself maths in my first year of uni from a book i found in the libary!
