I'd try the frontline on him and like someone else has said clean the carpets and curtains at the same time

Definitely Frontline drops and as someone else has said get a big tin or two of the spray as well to do the rest of the house.

Make sure you use the drops as prescribed without fail and fleas shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Unless they're new super-fleas... and then we're just all doomed.

Pretty much as everyone else has said, have to de-flea the animal, its bedding, your bedding, carpets, curtains, towels etc. etc. Only then will you stand a chance of being flea-free.
