IL4 are great fun and gives a good buzz, they do get more exciting the higher end the rev range it is but doesnt overwhelm you, just makes it feel more racier

Try a gsxr Quiff

Another convert to the dark side then?

It is funny but I was watching that wheelie video that whatshisface posted and I did miss that sound of the V-Twin, kind of reminds me of a speedway bike!

May well get a Vee again one day. For now though I want the IL4 rush. The Vee sounds like a proper motorbike but the IL4 goes like a proper motorbike.

Oddly... I really miss my SV, the sheer usability of the bike, the ability to use the power is makes and have oodles of fun with a sound of heaven from that oval CCC. And that for me was where the problem began, I used it and loved it but I had reached that point for me where although I'd far from mastered the SV, I wanted to raise the bar. Only now am I as quick as I was on my SV, this new bike ( less than three mostly wet weeks) it takes a tad more respect and thinking about and yes it rewards you when you get it right, but I recon you're burnt toast if you fail to respect that extra power and get it wrong. More miles on the bike and I'll get to know it better. I love it.

IL4s are just different, smoother, tinglier with higher frequency vibes, and a modern 600I guess is full of lunacy when wound open. Yup it's all there. Fizz has ridden the new 600 so would have a far better informed review/comparison with the SV than I.

I doubt if I'll ever be able to use all the power and the chassis settings on my bike and thats why I bought it, so to be presented with an ongoing challenge to get the best I can out of it. And they have a completely new version of mine next year with a power limit switch

The GSXR600K4 gave me a WAAAAAAAAY bigger thrill than the TLS ever did. In fact every time I've ridden an IL4 I've enjoyed riding the bike where as both twins I have ridden are just well.... boring.

I'd imagine the thrill on the R6 is the same as the GSXR.
....................I,m assuming you have an SV. If so, why on earth did you buy a
V-Twin in the first place
