Nor me (apart from the 3-4 days a year when it's *really* cold), but this year I think that I'll try heated glove liners.

Bunch of nancies.

Maybe I am just odd but after a while you kinda get used to the cold. Sure I use winter gloves and would rather be somewhere warm but It's not that bad. Try Russia in winter!

Tis ok, while I have to leave my heated jacket and grips behind, Ive found somewhere that sells heated socks Planning to test Frank Thomas' antifreeze claims with their trousers I have while Im there :P

Now THAT is cold! I found the whole Anti Freeze thing was rather good. I have a pair of all weather waterproof gloves that are actually warmer than a much more expensive Winter gloves!

i tried some heated liners at the nec last weekend but they only seemed to heat the back of the hand, not even the fingers. Chilli make a set which look alright, but at £70 i don't want to find they're equally as bad. i like the idea of heated grips though, even if they are a bit crappy, just because they're always there

After 2 winters with cold hands even with the thickest gloves I promised myself I would fit heated grips before this winter. Used them last week for the first time when the temperature dropped below freezing. They're fantastic, I am now warmer on the bike than in the cage, as there is no warm up time with the bike.

Ii bought a set of Motrax muffs off ebay last year, what a load of poo.

They were too sort so when i got some speed up they rested against the brake leaver, consequently the brake light was on all the time. The other bad thing about them is they tear very easily.

AVOID

Oh and i have heated grips but they are on my other bike.

I did read on visordown the theory being if you keep your core body temp up, then it takes longer for hands/feet to get really cold. Can anyone confirm that?

But in the very worst of winter I find heated jacket, glove inners, winter gloves and heated wraparounds on the grips works for me.
i can confirm to an extent, someone i know at uni did a study on body heat and stuff,

more importantly, keeping your head warm, as this is where most heat is lost will keep more heat in, therefore, your fingers and toes wont get as cold.

Ditto!

I've got heated grips and they've been a godsend - sadly I've even had to use them many times over the summer. They do the job though (most of the time).

Some decent layers are a good idea too - I forked out for a Merino wool jumper thingy at the tail end of last winter - nice and thin (fits under my leather jacket) but does a good job at keeping me warm.
