Makes a lot of sense for me as most of my best music is on tape since it was mainly from pirate radio stations back in the day.

Well, makes no sense since you can just plug a tape deck into your soundcard, it works the same I've got a stack of tapes, vinyl and minidiscs (oh minidisc, how I hate you, I use you for a year then suddenly you're gone, like a thief in the night) to transfer once I get my CDs done. Or alternatively, I could try to be less of a compulsive geek.
