You need a sharp point to shatter a car window, spark plug works very well for example.
Wonder how many hours community service the driver got

nah, he wont get any more than a slapped wrist, unless he was licenced, insured and was over the speed limit! its ok to drive like than unless youre speeding! i would have killed him., but no doubt he has rights etc

I wonder what he really got. Bet you a pound he didn't get off light- for them to e pursuing in that way he was in a lot of bother even before he drove into the bike.

how in the world did they not brake the window with the baton...tart... and for those that think otherwise, i have used those batons...they aint flimsy and with properly applied force should easy break a car window,certainly a side window!

hopefully he got a long time inside for that, but judges are what let the justice system down, far too leanient 90% of the time.

I don't get it!

Do we know what the driver is supposed to have done to be chased by that many police. (I'm sure it must have been something serious)

However given todays climate of terror and fear if I was being chased by the police I don't know how I'd react since we know they can make mistakes and gun down innocent people in cold blood.

Controversial.....maybe, but just a thought.
