mine was doing that harley style grumbly/crackly backfire and it was freezing! treated myself to some textile dainese kit last week and i can't believe it it possible to stay warm and dry, i always thought this was a myth!

mods!! can we kick the curvys off on to forums.oldsv650.org? hehe. maybe we should have a mini pointy vs curvy race series! i'll...erm...watch

interesting idea, the race series not the banning of curvys (just Hovi5 will be fine ) not gonna risk my pointy though.

hehe. I'd be up for a blasting through town race! unfortunately i live too close to uni next house will have to be in the sticks as i only get practise with crazy filtering at the mo

then i would just get a pointy, & leave it covered up at the back of my garage to avoid embarrassment of owning one

my curvey pops often, especialy in the cold. Take care on that road, i nearly became a cropper on that road.

yeah i will do thanks. theres another great one near it; the a5004 longhill road. It was dark so was just trying to take it very easy- and wait until i know it! a curvys vs pointys rally would be good. Like a 3 day challenge! (on a really cold day when the carbs ice up)

I think that even FI bikes still suffer a form of icing.
