Exactly and why I cleaned and regreased even though it hadn't done much milage. Bleeding Suzuki could have designed something better me thinks.

First time I saw it I thought, 'what the fook is that all about' as all the other bikes I've owned have been normal

Difference in length, but not in moving length I think (the cable's longer but so is the sheath)

Reeeeally thin plates?

I did think about that but it's not slipping under hard acceleration. I've hard a couple of bike where I've had to change plates and cables adjustment have not been as bad as this. I'll have to see if I can book a private road and really give it some in first and second gears.

Viney , are saying you have exactly the same problem I'm having?

I know you did change your clutch basket etc at some point. Why did you change it and did you notice a difference(from the whatever the initial problem was) when you first changed it? If so did it feel completely sorted but has now gone back to feeling like it did before the basket swap.

Cheers

It's just as likely to slip in the higher gears and you're more likely to notice it, if that's what you mean.

jonboy99, yes that what I mean. It'll take less time/lower speed to get the bike to revs high hence lower gears. Have I missed the mark there?

I see what you mean, but my clutch has been slipping i've always found it easier to tell if it is or not, in the higher gears, top gear really. In the lower gears the revs are rising so quickly anyway i've found it harder to tell. If you haven't got a nearby road you can get up to 80-90 at then you'd probably need a lower gear.

Wherever in the rev range peak torque is rather than peak power, is the rpm to be at.
