Call me a cynic,but I bet when the log book turns up it has more than one owner in it.
Also,if the book is lost I think you have to pay £19 to get another one.Are you paying that or are they? Too cynical me.

They are paying the £19 ill be damned if they charge me that!! also they told me it has had one owner, thats how it was advertised what would happen if it has more than one?

If you know the reg number, you can find out the number of previous owners easily here:
http://www.rac.co.uk/web/vehiclechec...5zfs&x=16&y=11 If it's within 14 days of doing the deal, you can claim 'cooling off period' and get your deposit back and rip up the paperwork. |

thanks i do know the reg number and i tried that it came up with nothing for the manufactuar, model or number of previous owners? could this be because of the log book being lost?
