I have my eye on a bike at the moment which will need this done, just not too sure how much work it involves.

It can be done on the bike!! Just remove the front wheel calipers and mudguard< Then polish away

If you decide to do it, get a polishing mop kit befpre you do. Only time I've done it is with wire wool and autosol and by god, it takes forever and a lot of force too. A polishing mop kit is the best bit of kit I've ever had, makes polishing effortless!

Get one on ebay for about £25!

I've been looking for a mop to fit my 115 mm angle grinder. Is there such a mop?

Colour of the bike doesn't matter. Most SV forks are silver anyways. Unless a Gixxer upgrade has been done, then they might be gold, etc. But as silly as that idea sounds, it would probably work quite well for the winter season.
