It's people like you that give us bikers a bad name. You should be ashamed.

The dark visor thing is a bit 50/50 imho. I wear a dark visor cos i genuinely have eyes that are sensitive to too much sun and glare. But i do see some bikers who ride with a dark visor at night by choice. Why, i guess cos it makes em look well 'ard or something equaly pointless.

Maybe its about time there wa legislation about dark visors that are leagl to use on the road.

How bright a day was it i wonder for the dead guy to have a dark visor and sunglasses on? Maybe it was fully justified and the safest thing he could have chosen to do. Who knows.
light tint visor (completely LEGAL, with a light fogged pin lock insert LEGAL, put the two together and completly LEGAL and you can see fine, much better that full dark tint visors and they look the same from the outside, and i have even been court out at night once without my clear visor and could just about see fine, i wouldn't recommend it, ans the only reason that i had to do it was because i completely lost track of time and did not have my clear visor on me to swap ova!!! my mistake completely but as it happens its not all to bad like that!!!

Most police don't really care about dark visors in sunlight. Dark visor and sun glasses ? Err no...

Like Spider, my eyes are quite sensitive to light and I have to wear either a dark visor or sunglasses. Silly thing is, as far as I'm aware, there's no law about sunglasses... Why should visors be different ?

nope and i dont intend to,i dont see why us bikers should have to pay out £££'s for sunglasses (this applies to people like me who have to wear glasses whilst riding) when they should just make black visors legal, ive got the common sense to carry my clear visor and change it when it needs to be.

My silly previous post aside, I do.

If I have a tinted visor in and I know I'm going to be out after dark, I'll carry a clear one with me.
