I was so-o-o-o-o-o looking forward to a ride, stressful week etc and a chance for a bit of peace. The road through Corvedale is a sheer delight, not technical, just a lovely ride. It was a split second decision to hang a left down to Ludlow. I wasn't going fast - low sun. Surface uneven, bike jumping a bit, I overdid the back brake and next thing I knew the rear swung out and I was on my ****. I was only doing about 10 - 15, maybe even less. Bike isn't too bad, no structural damage and perfectly rideable apart from the shot indie.

I've found a nosecone on fleabay only it's yellow so would need respraying, I'd be tempted to do it myself only I know it won't look too good! I think I've sourced the panels through a salvage place, prob is that the pic of the bike on fleabay is the nearside - which is fairly badly mashed - can't really see the offside. Waiting for a call back, they're not open Sundays.

My left thumb is still v sore

Sorry to hear about this Ed.

Almost seems that lots of peeps are having a bad time at the moment, lots of offs reported recently.

I had my bike rear step out from time to time out yesterday, not by much as I was not really going for it. Enough to give me another wake up call as to the amount of grip out there. Buddy on his trumpet was more confident than I was. May be I need to play with the spenders a tad and back things off a little. Current settings are stock which are fantastic for higher speeds when the grip level is higher.

Bugger Ed. Good to hear you are relatively okay. Do check for the prices of new panels frm Triumph before paying for used ones.

I've just found out the panels for certain colours of the SV are a bit cheaper than I thought as not all the colours are the same price.

Hope all gets sorted soon.

Cheers
Ben
