Saw them on friday at secc glasgow.

They were fantastic.

Best sound i have heard in that big shed. Crystal clear and loud. I do now stand in the same place for gigs there noo.

I have read half a dozen interviews with the singer and in the mainstream press ,each one he said they would be playing the new album in its entirity and some old ones. Listened to the new stuff and was pleasently surprised. (2 minutes to midnight, iron maiden, hallowed be thy name, fear of the dark from what i remember maybe another one wiz the oldies, metalmaniacs

.) New stuff was good and sounded well received. Enjoyed them doing it that way. Absolute quality show, hard working bastids, still got it.

Last Maiden album I bought was 7th son..... so i'm not a diehard by any means.

Trivium were standard issue Yank tripe, and was surprised the singer did not get "into bother" with some of his "patter". King tit.

I'm going to see them on friday at earls court in London Village and I'm loking forward to it the new album is great and don't mind haring it all live nice to see that they're not sticking to a formula.
Come on friday up the Irons.

And if its old Iron Maiden you want rumour has it that next year they are touring the golden years set Rime of the Ancient Mariner,Wasted Years,Aces High and all that there is a strong rumour from a good source that they are on the saturday night at the Download Festival.

trivium suck

i did not get to see maiden after all, i would be a bit disapointed if they didnt play all the old classix, but there is so many how could they??
