Ok, so it has no 'real world' value in itself as a finished item, but as a test-bed for future projects the desginers have proved that they can make a walking robot that actually works - as Sam said the fact that it can compensate when given a kick is REALLY impressive - try asking someone who has artificial legs how easy it is to do that when they overbalance !!

yeah but the government didn't spend a few £m making me.

What they need is to attach some tazers to it so stop people kicking it.
