Apart from Rocky 5 (which in my book never happened) the rest were ace. If you expect some intriguing plot twists and Academy winning acting then you will be dissapointed. It's a film about two men belting the snot out of each other. It's an easy watching movie. These days those films don't seem to cut it anymore, back in the day (80's) they were the best things since sliced bread. How we are so fickle. I guess I'd best throw away all my Dolph Lundgren, Arnie, Sylvester movies then eh.
 Yes they are cheesy as hell but they are supposed to be.

I agree with Dan, 1 is pretty, good 2 ok, 3 has the novelty of Mr T and 4 is at least entertaing if ****e (its the one i watch the most). 5 is utter toss it surley cannot be that bad. What can you be expecting? im just going in not expecting cinematic greatness just a entertaining switch my brain off affair.

I thought it would be predictable. I wasn't disappointed in that regards. Typical Rocky film. I have to say that I was surprised that Sylvester Stallone decided to make that film. He has done so much better since so what was the point going back again
