That, my friend, is an amazing thing to think about... It's never crossed my mind.. Ewwwwwwwwww
I've sneezed a few times and got away with it. Don't know how you'd get on sneezing with a snotty nose though.

Oh, and get well soon K. I've managed to avoid everyone else's illnesses the xmas (touch wood).

Thanks for the insight. Knowing my luck if I ever sneeze I will squeeze the brake or something and go over the handlebars!

I am also dreading getting a cold, as the bike is my only form of transport now, and dont want to be snotting in my helmet. Sorry to send the thread off on a tangent.
Been there, what you get is snot on the visor. Nice.

The options are to open the visor and try and sneeze out of it or to sneeze in a downwards direction aiming for the chin bar/ draught excluder curtain bit. Best to stop and clean it all up before it dries

Hope you feel better soon K, been suffering myself this weekend but not with fullon man flu, just the cant be ar*ed sniffles.

Riding when you've got a cold's pretty grim, there's only so many bogies you can eat I had a bad cold right through my DAS and it added a whole extra dimension to the test, I can tell you.

Wasn't there some guy on here that had just sneezed, and got some lip of a WVM and so "hawked the loogie" straight out of his visor and into the van and drove off? I'll have a search...

I normally slow down (remember you close your eyes too) and open the visor if I need to sneeze.

What I find more annoying this time of year, is the fact my nose starts running precisely 30 seconds after I set off and I have to do my whole journey with a dew drop hanging off my nose.

I learnt my lesson not trying to clear it whilst at traffic lights etc, as leather gloves are not absorbent in the slightest and you end up just wiping snot all over your face
