Im in the same situation hovi5;

I like the bucket idea, filled with concrete. I'd sink a ground anchor in it i think, Although its movable, it'll be bloody hefty and the scraping will make alot of noise!

My girlfriend likes this idea too

Been reading the site for a while so decided to join in, and this seemed like a good enough thread to start with

Anyway, I have my SV locked to a Royal Enfield which is in turn locked to a (wooden) Electricity post.

The idea being, that if you want to steal one, you have to take the other (most likely the Enfield) off my hands as part of the deal

I've got an old engine block to chain my bikes to. Its from a Ford P100 pick-up so its fairly heavy. I stripped all the bits off it and chucked them away, degreased it and, once it was dry, gave it a coat of red hammerite to stop it going rusty. If someone can get into my garage and nick the bikes with that bloody thing attached to it then they're welcome to them 'cos I WON'T be messing with them.
