Ally Pally have now released their exhibitor list. Seems to me like more independent retailers than the Excel. Maybe good if you are kit hunting: http://www.superbike.co.uk/allypally/exhibitorlist.php (156 Exhibitors)

What do you think? http://www.londonmotorcycleshow.com/exhibitorlist.html (132 Exhibitors)

EDIT: Surprising to see their is more exhibitors at the Ally Pally (Exhibitor costs probably lower). I would have thought the Excel would have been a more popular show for them in terms of attendance however.

Well, looking at those lists, with non of the major manufacturers present, I don't know if I'll bother going to either. I want to look at bikes, not 2 year old textiles that nobody wants...

For some of us that is at least part of the attraction - perfectly good kit that is cheaper because it's not the latest style or colour scheme.

Back in 2001 I got my Texport 2 piece leathers for £299 reduced from £699 for exactly that reason.

Also, quite a few manufacturers / retailers do 'Show Only' offers - last year I got a pair of CCC cans for the SV for £210

Vox, I'm all up for "show specials", have done that myself often enough, but I want to have a play with the bikes... Sit on, gaze at (laugh at even), but if the manufacturers aren't gonna be there, then I may not bother.
