Every time you have finished a meal go to toilet and stick your fingers down your throat or OD on laxatives

you can't do it healthily. rapid diets will be totally ineffective longterm. In the short term you will most likely suffer bad breath (might be an issue?) light headedness, shortness of energy or possibly something worse. It ain't worth it kiddo!

But unlike the 'putting on weight' thread, I shall say no more than that, except good luck with the date!

If I lost 8 stone I'd fall through the cracks in the floorboards

I lost well over a stone when I had my jaw wired up for a month after I had my big off. And the trippy painkillers probably helped as well.

Mind you, constantly throwing up when your teeth are clamped together isn't any fun

I lost just over a stone in 4 months last year. Not that impressive I hear. I drank every night for those 4 months. I was stuck down the Falkland Islands up a mountain with nothing to do but go to the gym and drink. It seems the gym outdid the beer. Happy days. A stone in a week ins;t healthy though. I heard the cabbage soup diet just makes you lose water instead of fat. Not sure how true that is.

true ... 52,000 calories is just a tad short of two full marathons.

You'd better set off now!

I bought 3 tins of slim fast powder and some skimmed milk. I'll use that to replace breakfast, instead of my usual McD's bacon and egg McMuffin.

That's alright, it's only two choccy bars, and I believe they're called snickers now...

Oh, right.

I see what you mean...
