The bucket, sponge and garden hose were already there for duty, easy to clean another bike (after the all important suzi of course) and keep the nasty salt off another one of our two wheeled metal buddies.

After a good fun rideout we have to look after our two wheeled freinds.

An affair.... well thats another story not for this forum

If you bought your bike round Anna, I'm sure Beenz would clean it for you. In fact I bet your's would get a polish too, since it's an SV.

He washes and polishes the gixxer (and the tyre tread) hoses me Tona down, as noted in this thread, but positively dribbles over what he see's as his blood offspring, the red SV.

You see the SV brought out his Paternal instinct which me missus adopted last year when he found he couldn't cope with the parenting of two bikes - the gixxer being a teenager and all that. He felt he had to give the gixxer too much attention and felt guilty about not being able to be a good daddy to the SV.

His guilt causes an excessive compulsion to look after all the little children (sorry, bikes - got me at it now ) around here. This of course, all happened after you left for the smoke.

So don't be too hard on the guy, he is emotionally drained at the moment. SV sits in the garage all shiney bright just out of reach. He visits the SV regularly but I think he really feels the pain Imagine a father with limited access to his kids but they live next door!.

Oh its too much, I'm filling up now...

I love the gixer

Beenz, that was your big chance to make amends with Anna! Crikey man, I led you too it ... quick do an edit, you can still play the poor hard done by guy if you're quick and reap loads of sympathy whilst getting off the hook
You know something like "Of course I would clean yer bike Anna, this parenting thing has changed my life. Ok the little SV will never be grow to be a thou but she's still mine in my heart ( oops sorry), I'm a new man but yes I've been distracted caring for my offspring (family does come first!).

In fact I'll clean ANYBODY'S bike if they bring it round"
