hang on hang on! i took my fairing panels off still fixed together? i undone both sides and lower'd them to the ground then sort of slid them out from underneath the reason i kept them together was i couldnt get the black plastic rivits out that hold them together at the bottom, they are still fixed together in my loft.

I think it looks great!!!
I have been having a psychological battle on this matter - To FAIR OR NOT TO FAIR. I like the lowers looks good but also like the pointy belly pan and stainless covers but don’t think I got the time and energy to keep the downpipe as shiny as some I’ve seen on here. You’ve managed to hide the pipe completely.....decisions decisions......???

i love the silver pointy k3 with the silver frame thats why i'm on my second! and the fairing lowers that came with my 1000 are in the loft and the belly pan is on with the s/steel rad covers, i like to see the v twin engine and the pipework, the fairing lowers just seem to stick out like a after thought to me thats why were all different tho it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

That looks great! I'm thinking of putting mesh on my curvey side fairings too. The one thing that bothers me is the thought of the mesh going to look manky, or rust coming through it. Did you consider that and did it affect the choice of mesh you used? How did you fix the small pieces in the side vents?

Can anyone tell me what mesh to use and where to get it to avoid rust / mankiness? Would like gold mesh on blue curvey.

Thanks.

If you have the Internet Explorer 7 browser (which I think a lot of us must have by now), you can change the size of the page with the zoom in / out feature just above the clock on the tool bar. If you go to 50% you can see the bike fram further away
