If I remember right you have a single element H4 in one side and a H1 for the projector.

Makes sense, I guess. Do the bulbs themselves usually have a marking somewhere stating the type? I might be tempted to pop them out for a couple of new ones... Thanks, Mark.

Thanks Law, did that on mine, they are indeed marked and mine are both H1 (that or my eyesight has gone south, the markings on the main beam - not the projector - are a bit hard to see).

And now I've also got a blown bulb, no dipped beam. ****.

*sods off to go look for an H1 replacement bulb...*

UPDATE:

Done, found a cheap pattern one at my local petrol station, it'll have to do while I search for the Osram ones... (I only have one dipped and one main, so no chance of "using only the other one").

Just seen ebay 7 piece bulb packs. Including 60/55 H4 clear 2.99 + postage. Including 'Ice Blue' 60/55 H4 5.99 plus pp. Anyone tried these 'Ice Blue' bulbs? - quoted as being 'up to 30% brighter'

No

You mean how did I edit my post so quickly? I had the blue visions in a drawer next to the PC.
