Yamaha announce title sponsor

I bet FIAT would rename the team to "Team FIAT Rossi" if they could. Yamaha are just a means to their end (being sponsoring Rossi and his bike), I reckon.

Read in More Crap Than News today that Fiat are going to be changing the designs for different races, a la Nastro Azzuro from a few years back.

The FIAT colour scheme will be changed a lot over the season. Rossi is certainly selling cars but also has an eye on the future as a competitive car driver.

I reckon Rossi won't go over to 4 wheels, at least not for some time and then probably not on a permanent basis. He's more likely to see out his 2 year deal with Yamaha, and if he's still champion, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up in WSB...

He likes to think of himself as a winner and a racer. What could be more exciting to him than moving to a different race format and proving how good he is. And let's face it, who wouldn't sign him, and at what price ???
