Andy,

You may find that it was "pre-registered", so technically, the first owner was the dealer, that puts one of them to bed. Many people bought who the RR found out that it just wasn't for them. It's a firm focused ride that many people think they want but can't live with in real life.

If the bike looks sound, and you have no reason to think that it's dodgy, then trust your feelings, just don't buy it because you can...

And Welcome to the Dark Side, the force is strong here

.

I'll second Jelsters comment - when I was at work there were a couple of 600RR's that came and went a few times through us - every time the owner traded it back in for a 600F.
From memory they were mostly folks who'd come from the likes of an ER5 (though I seem to remember one having had a 600 Hornet) and then found the RR just that bit 'too much/focused' for thier next bike.

A couple of cases perhaps of naieve dreams ruling the wallet rather than practicallity at the time.

I was thinking along those lines too. I suppose it would be far more suspicious if the first owner kept it for a while, then it started changing hands rapidly after the warranty expired.

Spoke to the previous owner who says there's no problems with it, just sold it because he couldn't afford to run it any more.
