Are the OE discs Nissin discs? You could(well I can) probably get Nissin Discs and pads or "Braking" Wavy discs for less than the price you have quoted for the EBC. On the "Braking" wavy discs, maybe about the same but you get added bling and wotnot
![]() ![]() Personally I wouldn't touch EBC anything. Not had much luck with their products. The Pro-lite discs rusts like bu*gery as well. Ben |

What model/year is your bike? Also any relevant letters of designation.
Re Nissin discs, I was just wondering since the other brake bits are Nissin(I believe), might also be made by them and just branded Triumph. Ben

Blimey - Which ever way you look at it thats a lot of money for the amout of material you seem to get ! - I think I'll use my brakes less and my 'V' Twins famous engine breaking a bit more !

Don't buy EBC discs for a bike that ever gets wet

I did a Google search - there seems endless supplies of pattern stuff for Japs and some do European bikes too but Triumph is too often off the list. Some do older Triumphs up to 2003 but only found one for mine. Everyone I've spoken too so far have required the VIN number in addition to model and year, so I assume there must be some technical differences even between newer models. Nissin brand doesn't appear anywhere but you may be right, 21Q. I'll have to look into that. Cheers |

Checked on the Nissin discs for you(with my contact) but none listed for Triumph. Waiting for someone else to get back to me ....

Undoing the bolts is rather easy when you know how... get one heat gun (or hair dryer if not available) and heat up the bolt you wish to undo, this causes the locking agent to melt.. and the bolt should undo considerably easier than without heating it up (I know cos I learnt the hard way!, plus my mechanics told me afterwards on how your meant to do it)
