On what must only just classify as a 'road'. Try riding a gixer traily style standing on the pegs to save your spuds hitting the tank with clip on bars.

Terrible day.

ooo dear. a couple really,....in such a short space of time as well!!!

number 1 - on a honda mtx125, firt bike, coming out of college, thought i would show of to my mates and pull a wheelie in first gear. now if anyone rides a 125 crosser, you will know that first gear is a tad quick, gave it too much throttle, ending up flipping it and me running down the road still holding the bars until it slowed down!!! rather embarassing but saved it!!

number 2 - on the sv. two years ago, met my mates at their student flats, parked the bike in the carpark. came out next morning, bit of a heavy night, but save to ride. not paying much attention...unlocked the lock...but forgot about the disk lock!! went to pull away and down i go!!! right in the middle of the carpark with some people playing football close by as well!! glad i had the helmet on!!

Hmmm - yet to have one on the bike other than being knocked off at a slow pace and doing a commando role across the road. But had a couple on the pushbike. Riding down Fulham high street and tried to answer my mobile phone at the same time. Had to slow down so pulled on the brake - forgot it was the front brake and went over the handlebars landing on my head/hemet and doing a forward role.

Discovered a disused bmx track riding through Chertsey so decided to ramp up the pace and race about the circuit. Flew over one of the jumps to put the front wheel in a big pot hole on the landing - over the handle bars again and landed on my head/helmet - am getting good at the role.

could be riding the bike up the pit lane at Brands hatch, parking in front of the advanced group waiting to go out, jumping off my bike (forgetting I'm not riding in WSB hence the lack of pit crew) and watching it gently fall on its side and slowly rock on the slope. There were a few giggles, not from me! Then some kind bloke said 'did it roll off the stand'. Hmmm, why yes, yes it did, I lied.

Or it could be riding in to the Triumph dealers forecourt on their demo 675 Daytona, which was still not available to buy, and parking it very carefully. What do you think of it, said the dealer. OK, front end not very planted, I said and continued, which is why I dropped it and broke some bits off! The dealer and the people that had turned up for the next test ride were very understanding although I'm sure I heard some muttering under their breath when the bike was declared unfit to ride .
