Way too dear by British standards.
I wouldn't rule out a high mileage bike but the price has to be right.I suggest that is double what the bike is worth.

Hi flyingmachine!
The american site mentioned is www.svrider.com You'll get more accurate views about U.S. market value from the guys on there. I think there's a for sale section too so you might see another more favourable choice of bike. Saying that, I don't think high mileage is such an issue across the pond, most bikes do a lot more mileage than in the uk. Probably due to the better weather, better roads, more cool routes to choose from, all leading to more frequent use. Strength of the market etc....need i go on. Basically, u get a better deal than us. ![]() |

If they're US miles rather than imperial it'll be OK, after all 12.3 imp.pint = 1 US gallon, 2986 US pounds = 1 imperial kilogramme, 98 degrees fahrenheit = 22 degrees US somethingorother, not sure how many US seconds in an imperial hour.
By the way does anyone know how many thou there are in an inch ? must be bloody hundreds I reckon. ![]() |
