Why not just use the tax disc to cover it and tighten so it won't do any more damage.
hahahaha i was laughing when i saw this. In case you got stuck in a time warp fuel injection is more precise and better if done correctly

BUT... it's very difficult to do FI correctly. Carbs are great. Really great, but unfortunately in these days of environmental responsibility, proper carburation is hard to get through emissions tests. The emissions laws seem designed to put an end to traditional stoich Air/Fuel ratio and to force us all to live with lean burn, clean burn, hot running motors. Have you noticed how all modern cars have massive radiators and oil coolers whilst a car built in the 60s had a postage stamp stuck behind the grille - and even then in the winter a lot of people were covering half of it up with a piece of tin-foil.

BTW, I used to own a Pointy, but my ZX-7R has carbs, and fuels much more smoothly.

TAKE IT BACK TO THEM,they were the prats that fitted it in the position whereby it rubbed on the swing arm,so let them remedy the faulty fitting
Now because the paint or finish has been rubbed off the area is liable to rust
You can only ask them and see what they say, after all it is no fault of yours so why should you suffer the consequences

alachrome! if you can get it?

know anyone working with aircraft? they should be able to get a small pot for ya!

put a bit of tissue over the rub mark....use a brush to put som of this nasty stuff on the tissue on the rub...let it stand for about a minute then clean off with fresh water! job is a goodun!

ok will leave the small rubbed area slightly gold looking...but THEN you touch up with paint.

If that was mine, I'd use a wee spot of touch up paint to prevent it oxidising, then put the tax disc holder back in the same place to hide it...
