Looks a lot like that, but a deeper red with a grey seat. Lots of damage to it too, it's a cat d write off. It was just to get her out and about on the road so when i look at upgrading from the SV she can take it off my hands. Worst thing is it wasn't insured: was going to look at insuring it for her this weekend. Then again, as it was only £250, I doubt if we'd have gone for any more than third party. Just sucks that her new toy has gone without her getting to properly play with it.

Bloody hell! Had a call from the local nick saying that they'd found the scooter.

Ok, so it's pretty comprehensively trashed, and probably has gone from a cat d to a cat a write off, but at least it's back! I'll post up some photo's tomorrow so you can all laugh at my misfortune...

She didn't do it in the end. It's been a difficult week. She's been in and out of hospital with her back, hence my no show on friday. The bike's pretty much a write off (it was already a category D before it got nicked.) They smashed it into a tree, ripped the fairing off the front and cut ALL the wiring. The bars have no relation to the direction of the front wheel anymore either.

TBH, I could probably fix it given the time and the willpower (and somewhere to work on it) but as I have none of these, and it only cost me £225 in the first place, I may just cut my losses and get her something else. I was thinking of one of those chinese jobbies, gonna do some research later. Anyone heard anything?
