Cheers Mark.
I love my Z750S - it was a great step up from the SV, enough power to put a childish grin on your face and more then enough wind protection but with the exposed engine of a naked (which I like personally)..

Remus can, hugger and tailtidy and it now looks like this..

Seat height is 815mm on the Kwak as opposed to 800mm on the SV.

Skip, i'm not a huge fan of half faired bikes but that looks really nice. Just got myself a Z1000 which is rather fruity as well.

Although not alot in it I'd say, the bum to peg distance was less, the front forks aren't anything wonderful and I'd be do oil and springs pretty quick, it's good enough but not outstanding, brakes once again OK rather than outstanding, but the engine is a peach, Kawasaki do a really good job of making an almost stepless four pot, well enough power,Pulls to the ton without much effort, nice riding position, good bars, make it easy to control.

Give it a go, it'll surprise you Amanda, It did me, some bikes are more than the sum of their parts, this is one of them.

I understand the half faired version suffers from the front being a bit heavy on the soft springs (although I've not tried one), but I suspect could easily be address with new springs and getting the static sag right.

Cheers Mark

It red lines at 11,500 - get it over 6000rpm and it really flies but still has loads of go at lower revs thanks to being a 750. After 4000 miles of riding it still surprises me how quick it is!

I suggest a test ride at your local Kawasaki dealer!

The suspension is defintely budget and as my novice-ness wears off I am starting to notice this more and more, oh well, best get saving! Rear shock is a straight swap for a ZX636R-B1H unit too btw...

Indeed my brother has the Z1000 and has just bolted a ZX6 shock and front end on his all in about an hour with no issues what so ever, direct fit to both the Z750 & Z1000.

Cheers Mark.

Oh, that's just not on! Really! I have another 18 months of finance to go on my SV, then I want a Z750 too. Now you have gone and rubbed my face in it. Shame on you...

By the way Skip, Nice bike!

You are about 6 months late! Kawasaki were doing 0% finance and discounted both the naked and S model to £4495 last summer - I think they are about £5,200-5,500 now - look about for bargains!
