What's raw about a k6 gixxer thou? It's got far more cultured fuel delivery than the blade, rides better over rough roads, is comfier and has plusher suspension. And that's in addition to having more bhp and the torque to force the blade's face right down into the toilet bowl.

I'd pay for the sound alone - when I used to have a race can on my VFR, it made the hairs on my neck stand up!

For those who haven't heard one!

Mr.Paton..You very be wise for one so young me thinking. V twin sound is wonderfully very nice, but a V4 with nice exhaust is glorious.

MrJonboy69...If you thinking K6 Suzuki better than 2006 Hoinda Fireblade you needing plenty help. Honda only lacking in out right top speed in real world it make much better bike.It also providing things the GSXR cant......quality build, attention to detail.

(Remember who sign my paychecks and so I having to say certain things,no?)

I think you'll find that in the suspension stakes, the 'Blade delivers better than it's rivals. And whilst the GSXR has better fueling and more power, the 'Blade edges it on "useability". Having ridden both I'd go for the Blade, but saying that, the GSXR just wrenches your arms out of their sockets when you accelerate hard, it's an amazing experience.

I did feel a bit intimidated with the Gixxer, a bit of "C'mon and try it if you think you're hard enough", whereas the 'Blade was refined and predicatable. I kept worrying that the Suzuki was going to suddenly get upset with me and chuck me out the seat.

I need more confidence with it, which I guess means I should go out and ride it some more

.

That is not wrong. Its a reason I'd buy a VFR - just because they sound awesome with a set of race cans on.

Bring back the race-rep V4!
