Well as the saying goes...could have been worse. Always the problem of fixing on a situation and then missing something else. Been there and bought that t-shirt but always got away with it.

Hope the bike is an easy fix and you're ok. At least here, plenty of experts to get you back on the road.

Sorry to here that Warthog. Hope you are ok. Your kit did the job it is supposed to do, which is good.

The bike looks worse for wear. But at least YOU are ok, and that is the main thing

Thanks guys, it's strangely nice to hear sympathy from people you have never met. What a great community . Any ideas on the pricing and whether its written off or not (in terms of me bothering to repair it rather than insurance write-off, I only have TPFT)?

Unlucky there mate. I nearly went into the back of someone at the weekend under similar circumstances.

I find that it is ok commuting because you get used to everyone going and turning at the same places with a purpose but going out at othertimes like Sunday mornings you get people turning off at odd places for seemingly no reason.

I almost get road rage towards them at times thinking "why the **** are you turning off there" although I suppose it is not their fault! But you see them turning off to go down a lane that goes fecking no where and it does my head in cos I swear they haven't got a clue where they are going.

I get more p*ssed off cos when one car wants to turn right the others are too wide to go up the left of them so end up stopped in the middle of the road and that has nearly caught me out a couple of times when I suddenly find a traffic jam down some lane in the middle of no where. It caught me out cos being a few cars back I couldn't see their indicator so I just get the situation where suddenly the traffic stops dead for no reason and the cars in front are all half a sleep and have to do emergency stops so I don't get much warning from their brake lights either.

Anyway hope you get your bike all sorted.
