For those that are bothered - the 19th is the FA Cup Final, which makes me a definite no for that day.

20th is a possibility depending on how 'advanced' the onset of my hangover is that morning!

Graeme that sounds like a good route - The York Helmsley one is a good one, however a few too many N Yorks police like that route also and to be honest, theres probably too many bikes on it anyway. Alston will surely get a thumbs up from Mark as if he's off im sure he'll be there to show us how its done!

I know what you mean about the York/Helmsley route, my thoughts are that if we're in a group like ours then we are bound to get a "tug" by the local North Yorks county mounties and as we all know they are not the most biker friendly, whereas my lot in County Durham are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Graham (GMS not GRH) yes we are definite about the dates obv weather depending (could possibly be wild!) I just dont know whether to choose the Sat or Sun - has anyone who CAN do that weekend got a particular liking to either? Obviously as mentioned the FA cup final on the Sat 1st at Wembley etc etc might mean folks want to go on the Sunday.

How many folks have we got south of Leeds/Huddersfield this time around? Obviously need to think about that to plan rideout
