If you see a red raptor with loudish cans, or a pink hornet (maroon) give us a wave.

I'm not keen on big rideouts so I don't do them, so that's why I wasn't there. I used to do them, but not any more.

OK fair enough? It was actually pretty decent. Ride at your own pace stop and chat. Should have come.

Never mind. I had a nice rideout anyway, round my usual routes getting used to the raptor again. Still dunno whether to sell it on or not.

I've had it for over 2 years, then late last year it started off with a problem. Took it down to JB racing and they re-mapped it because nothing was showing up on the diagnostics as broken and it ran perfectly on the dyno. We spent a whole afternoon trying different maps and scratching our heads but nothing would solve it. So I took it back a couple of weeks ago and they had another go at it - still no luck. One of the guys off TLzone was there and he suspected the throttle position sensor, so his mate with a raptor took his spare one down and it fixed it. One new TPS later and a nice map and it's fixed. They said it was odd that it didn't show up when plugged into the computer as a fault, but it wouldn't set no matter what they did and it was all over the place. At least it's fixed now.

The problem now is me. I don't trust it anymore and have lost faith in it even though it's never run better. Maybe I didn't get on with it at the weekend because I've been really down about having our cat put down the weekend before and I wasn't in the mood. I dunno. All I know is I've got a buyer for it if I want to sell but I don't know if I will regret selling it, or regret keeping it more. Tough one!

Sorry about the long ramble

Good enough explanation for me. If I were you I would sell it. Once you start doubting it ... well let's just say the rides will not be that enjoyable. If you sold it would you buy another Italian or would you get a jap?

Well my bike always started and went, just was a pain in the rear when it all went wrong As it goes, it was a suzuki part that broke Nowt to do with it being Italian. Or maybe Suzuki bits put together by Italians is not such a good idea Tuonos are lovely bikes though
