That too

What I found with mine was set the revs pretty high, control it on the clutch and ever so slightly drag the back brake.

Good luck, fingers crossed and all that

Whoop! Whoop! 2 minors. One for balance at the traffic lights (was being a smart **** trying to keep my feet up as I thought they were gonna change to green a bit quicker, ended up putting my right foot down). Other was for missing a right shoulder check just before I turned into a side street. Apart from that "outstanding riding" from the examiner.

I have a confession to make though... Last sunday I went to buy some textile pants from Jordans Bikes at Birstall in west yorkshire. They just so happened to have an sv650s sat in the showroom, so I wondered over and had a quick sit on it. Bloody awful riding position - although this is probably mainly down to me being 6ft 2 and 17 stone. It felt really narrow and odd.

Nearby was a honda cbf600s which I had also sat on, searched around in the net for some info on it, and put a deposit down on tuesday. Hope the org can forgive me! I think once I've had a bit more experience on the road I'll probably be able to handle a sportier riding position. If there's ever any meets which aren't restricted to SV's I'll tag along

thanks for all the support too! PT6^
