So have you worked it out?
Fuel card?
Time between previous services extrapolated?

How accurate were they at 1854 miles?

there are a couple of trackers

tracker retrieve (activated on theft)

and tracker moniter where you can track the vehicles movements?

Might be worth questioning your car person over it all?

Most fleet cars have trackers fitted. I know that all Hire cars do. All they do is monitor mileage etc, not where the car is etc. its so that you dont get bafoons running cars into the ground not getting them serviced etc.

Spot on, to the mile. My car is about 8 months old and coming upto its first service at 20,000 mile. (I know long interval and was suprised). I guess this is their way of selling them on at the end of the lease as maintained to the manufacturers handbook. Just a bit worried it tracked anything else

Sleepwalking into a surveillance society.
That's exactly what we are doing as it becomes generally accepted that "they" can just do this sort of thing without question.

I rest my case.If you can't see the implications in this sort of surveillance then we appear to be sleepwalking indeed.
I prescribe a good read of a couple of George Orwell classics to wake you up.Try 1984 and Animal Farm.
