Not saying i'd buy the Hagon, just pointing out that adjustability isn't the be-all and end-all. Ask a B-model 636 owner The shock swaps are great for the money. I'd look for a used Ohlins, WP, Technoflex, Penske, etc instead, myself, in fact I did!
I have a hagon on my fazer. they're alright shocks in a better-than-standard, reasonable-build-quality, rebuildable, longevity sort of a way. but if someone's spent *any* time designing high & low speed damping curves to suit the bike, then I would be astonished

I guess it's down to personal preference. I'd rather have a £50 zxr shock, some rearsets, springs, oil & emulators than a £400 shock. ymmv

I'd sooner sell the front end and fit a GSXR one for a superior performance than emulators can offer, for free Then spend the rest on a rear shock. But if I was on a budget, I wouldn't put the shock swaps down at all- what I said was I wouldn't buy a Hagon, I'd get a better used shock.

Dunno really. Didn't cost TSM anything though. Modified standard forks can cause a premium hike too remember.

avoid putting a GSX-R shock on the SV, it will handle worse than the origional, the damping and the spring rate's all wrong.

Eh, you realise it's been done many times? The damping rates are off, but you can get pretty good spring rate and length matches if you choose the right shock. It's a bodge, but quite a good one.

on which model SV? gixxer shocks are known to be better for pointy's than curvys, vice versa for zxr shocks
