I stand corrected. ACPO have just pulled the entire fleet of ST1300 Pans across the whole country. They will apparently never be used for Police work again.
BMW's from now on, at least for GMP, phased in as the old ST1100 fleet goes.

i saw in mcn the other week that 1 police force has a fleet of minimotos...so what the hell do they know bout anything! hahaha

Didn't Honda have probs with the new pan from the beginning.
And what about other pan users.

The moral of this story is never buy a Honda.

Yes they didn't put enough of a heat shield on them and then the police said they had a wobble so everyone else said they had one too

Not sure there has ever been a new bike in recent years that hasn't had some sort of factory recall, this one has just stayed in the news because of its use by the emergency services

Also wasnt the sump to exposed and could be easy damaged over a curb?
