Talking of acronyms, I work for a company (won't give the name) that begins with "T", and I'm a web developer. So when naming the team, we couldn't decide between:

T*** Web Application Team, or
T*** Internet Team

Some would call me the Architects Public Enemy #1... yet I'm just an acoustics consultant! Go figure!

I once created a system at work called the

Was up on a 8x4 52" plasma screen array 3 months until one of the managers spotted it and it was renamed to Faults etc etc instead of Ticket

Had to be careful and rename the

Automated
Resolution
Systems
Engineer

Project, which was going to be looking for "routine" faults and dealing with them automatically - but was never implimented because I got made redundant before it was finished, so never got beyond planning phase....

Whilst in the fire brigade we had a staion near us that dealt in water rescue, they were dubbed the Tactical Water Assault Team
but on the other hand we had to cover the underground network of coppenacre and places alike so we got tagged Corsham Underground Network Team

My job title is "Technical Specialist", which is pretty **** really isn't it.
