Hello Welsh Paul, I just swapped my Bandit 650 for an SV650k6. Get the SV, cos compared to it the Bandit corners like a barge. The old beast was a lot more comfy and less bouncy though, but I still wouldn't go back. Weight is the enemy and the bandit is about 100lbs heavier.

Hard luck with the CBR, where was it pinched from?

What Tiger says. I used to grease mine thoroughly (the plug cap that is, I dont worry with my penis) and when it was serviced redo it as no doubt the service guys clean it up nicely.

ABS will come, I'm surprised its not on coming 08's. Will be 08 time soon, but things seem to be dragging a little of late.

And yes, in the tradition of reaffirmation, the warrenty is two years.

In all honesty, given the budget nature of these bikes nothing much seems to go wrong and the budget bits can be upgraded in time. Not like top brands like BMW and KTM and stuff where you have to check you wheels not falling off or your fuels not about to dump all over the floor before you even think about riding the thing
