Default Re: Need advice for a SV purchase

I forgot to mention that I could purchase a shiny new one for $6000 ($6336 after taxes) so just about £3200. That's not too bad seeing that the two used ones are around half that price. So I could get a nice shiny NEW red one with fuel injection and the black frame and wheels that I love. Or I could get a used blue curvy with a couple of neat mods for around half that price.

But I live in Michigan (currently) and we get snow from the start of November to the start of April. So, while I ride until the first snow, there are a few months where the bike will be garaged. I have enough cash to by a new bike but if the new models aren't that much better, I'd just as soon save the money for rent and school.

What to do?
