fuel exhasuts, very reasonably priced, and build quality is miles better than my double the cost blueflame can.

I had a Micron on my (pre-VTEC) 800i - which not only sounded nice but unleashed about 9 more horses as well !! Don't know what you might expect from the VTEC though.
Bearing in mind that the OE ones are triangular (?) maybe the Yoshi route would be the way to go (even if it means taking out a mortgage). One thing I do know is STAY AWAY from the MV Augusta F4 style 4 way exhaust by Blueflame - I knew someone who had them - they were dreadful - looked pretty good - sounded crap & screwed the fuelling right up !!
