Oh dear. Sometimes we can be too democratic. We'll all have another falling out over venue, who has to travle how far, etc.

So I think that admin/mods ought to discuss it and impose a solution.

Like I said thinking caps on, lets see how popular the idea is and then once we have everybody back from the AR see how feasable this idea is.

Last thing we want as mods ( or I would want ) is to go to the effort of sorting out another weekend meet and then only to find that nobody is that bothered about it and its all been for nothing.

Rememeber you guys out there in forum land make these events what they are, as mods we're just custodians of the forum more than anything else I think.

There's also the idea that various regions themselves have 'Open Invitation Weekends'...

... a little like the North/South.

So, why not put out a South Welsh Welcome, find a small camp site, pick a weekend, sort a local route and then let folks know.

Like Spidey, there are a fair few folks that I would actually like to meet, but taken in small doses perhaps the quality of socialising would be better than quantity... if you get my drift.

I like the idea of regional weekends, with open invitations to anybody. Having smaller events on different dates (as well as the AR) makes it easier for people to be able to attend at least one.

Soho Massive should have a weekend camp in Soho Square. It's only yards from the usual Frith St. meeting place and there's large bike parks on each corner of the square. Perfect!

OK, a London camp might be a bit difficult and we don't have great roads here (unless you really like filtering), but I hope that other regions might like to organise something.
