Bloke didnt hang around to find out if I was OK or not, just as I was walking back fecked off sharpish, got his number and reported to the police but expect he wasnt insured. Have just checked over the bike in the car park at work with one of our fitters who does bike mechanics as well and cant find any damage at all to the bike, Car had a broken front valance seems all he did was push me forward about 4 feet and lucky there wasnt anything coming across the lights at the time, No injury to me and no adrenalin rush.
Rear shock is knacked anyway and have a replacement when I can get to TSM's to borrow his paddock stand.

Glad to hear you're OK Howard, never nice that sort of thing, let me know if you need a hand, although I obviously won't be running anywhere

(didn't happen to loosen thoughs tensioner bolts by any chance ).

Cheers Mark.

No such luck, have got them loose but cant get an allen key in the bottom one to get it off, Just rode the bike home and it doesnt handle any worse than normal, though I think the hugger is rubbing the back tyre on one side so will have to check if the back wheel is still straight

Good to hear you're OK. That's terrible he drove off. It was just me being naive that it sounded such a clear case of the driver being at fault & you would claim off his ins. and maybe the bike would fix better than it was.
Good job getting his number, really hope something comes of it.

Glad you are okay. Hopefully, the registration number is not false and the driver can be brought to book.
