Um, I wasn't being all intellectual about films. I've just seen a plot similar to this every year: Nerdy boy fancies cool chick that's hanging out with the cool boys but in the end he wins her over & saves the world.

It's a bit like every horror movie nowadays involves college kids during the summer/spring break driving cross country & taking "that left turn to save time" then getting eaten by some implausible horror that lives in a sewer.

Now if I was being all intellectual I probably would have mentioned that scene in Moliere when he pretended to be Monsieur Tartouf! ;o)
I wasn't having a pop at you, you're obviously not as easy to please as I am Maybe it's cos I'm getting old and my brain cells are dying off...

I went to see it last night with my wife&mates from the bike club,and apart from my ass being numb from the first 30 mins,it was pretty good,a bit of cheese but some very funny script

i loved it, but then i never watched the cartoons, the people who i know who didnt enjoy it commented that it wasnt faithfull to the original stories,

who cares i thought it was great, didnt take itself too seriously and theres gonna be some really cool shiny toys !!!!
