Aprillia RS50 I believe...

So did they tell you whats actually wrong with it ? It might be easy to fix, without shelling out for a new lump. You'll get alot more for a running bike than you will a broken one shoudl you decide to sell it.

yes ok so someone else will be ****ed off that i have their engine, but then i didnt come up with the idea.

quickly introduce myself to Stu and ASM, im Roberto, 18 on a 50cc lol currently blown up n been off the road for 2 months ... tha's'all lol.

im gona get rid of the 50 as it is, i want a new bike, SRAD or SV650's - pointy shape SV that is - need to get my test done and pass it though.
Removing the airbox will make it run lean..very lean. Hence more than likely it blew up.

Can understand then why they wouldnt do it.

TBH mate you have posted a few times in this thread and you still havn't really explained your situation that well....or very coherently for that matter!

Someone with more knowledge than myself has just told you no aribox=very lean=bang.

Your answer is then somewhat of a conundrum!

Who set your bike up?
What modifications were made?
How many miles did it do on the new settings before it went pop?

From what i can tell...its looking more and more likely that you modified/tuned the bike(as a lot of race reps have been) and therefore quite rightly invalidated any warranty/guarantee!

If you do not trust the garage then by all means take it elsewhere, but you have to factor in transportation costs as it is not rideable. They then may well tell you the same as the previous garage.
