Ok latest news is that the strike is definitely on.

Negotiations have succeeded with two of the unions, but the good old RMT are still taking action.

Sack the buggers! Pleanty of people wanting to drive tube trains out there, 3 year waiting list i believe. Its shocking that a public service should be alowd to strike. I cant, and probably 99% of people on here.

I thought it was the people doing the maintenance work that went on strike, not the drivers themselves.

The Tube strike doesn't worry me because I commute either by train
or (like today) on my bike.

Jelster mentioned that he can't turn up to high level customer
meetings in leathers. I am in the fortunate position that nobody
cares what I wear (though my wife disagrees, arguing that I should
try not to look as a tramp). In principle, I have a suit in my
office but I don't remember the last time I put it on.
